Live Oak Veterinary Clinic along with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service in Jack county would like to extend an invitation to livestock producers for a program covering the Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) that will be coming into effect January 1st 2017. The directive will effect the way producers purchase/contract medicated feeds and mineral supplements for livestock. Dr. Glen Rogers will be discussing what the new regulations mean for producers. Jordan Busher of Zoetis, she will be discussing their product GeneMax, and 5 trait screening test for day old calves. Chad Brown with Purina will also be discussing feed option ration and on hand to answer producer questions concerning feed. The meal will be sponsored by Zoetis and H– Brand Feed.
